2007 Scholarship Recipients
We are pleased to announce the 2007 recipients of Kennedy Society dance scholarships!
Olivia Creighton of Alliston, Ontario, Canada. Olivia is 10 years old and is the granddaughter of Chieftain John A. Kennedy. She has been studying dance for 6 years and has participated in dance demonstrations in her community, such as Canada Day celebrations and at a seniors' retirement home, as well as at Highland Games during the summer.
Morgan Pell of East Sandwich, Massachusetts. Morgan is 12 years old and has been studying dance for almost 8 years. In 2006, she won 19 dance awards, including US Premier Champion for the Eastern Region (11 & under) and Best New England Dancer of the Day at the New Hampshire Highland Games.
